They have a number of patients and carers who are willing to talk either by telephone, email or face to face (where possible) to help you through the dark times.
Staff and volunteers help with questions on living with a brain tumour, the various treatments the patient may be going through, where to go for support, sources of further information or just to talk about the diagnosis and what lies ahead. The service is available to anyone who has been touched in some way by a brain tumour.

Brainstrust supports patients at the point of diagnosis, but is also looking beyond this point to improve the treatment, care and outcomes of all patients who are diagnosed with brain Cancer.

Brain Tumour Action run a Phone Helpline which has been in continuous operation 24 hours a day for six years. The counselling side of the program is run on a telephone â€œbefrienderâ€ basis. The telephone is covered by a trained counsellor. Specialist neuro-oncology nurses also give advice.
