Hi Richard,

Will be thinking of you Monday!

Regarding supplements, you may find THIS section of the site useful. Inparticular the:

Supplements with Demonstrated Efficacy

Supplements with Potential Efficacy But Not Yet Clinically Tested

Links to further information and studies on various Supplements

I also have a copy of Ben Williams book Surviving "Terminal" Cancer which goes into further details about various supplements mentioned above. If you would like to borrow it just email me - natalya@btbuddies.org.uk - with your address and I will pop it in the post to you asap.

Whilst going through treatment the next 4-6 weeks you need to be careful that none of the supplements you decide to take have any interaction with them, particularly the chemo.

Obviously everybody reacts to radio and chemotherapy differently but one of the most common side effects towards the end of radiotherapy seems to be fatigue. The Coping with Fatigue article provides some information on how to deal with this and there are a few articles at the bottom of that page that may also be helpful.

At the moment the only other section I can think of that may be of some use is the Nutrition one.

Lots of reading Im afraid If you need further information on anything mentioned in the above sections just give me a shout!

We are so far on, we are on week 3 now of treatments.
I talked with our doctors, and basically we will be holding off any major therepies, until after all the radio therapy, and then have a look and see what has happened to my tumour / cancer.

How are you getting on Richard? I hope the side effects haven't been too bad for you.

Let me know if you'd like details of a Nutritional Therapist at any point and I will send you some details.

Thinking of you
